Thabiso's Memorial Medical Fund was created as a memorial and tribute to Labs4Rescue alumnus, Thabiso ("Bringer of Joy"). Thabiso was a certified therapy dog and brought joy to so many despite his difficult life medically. Knowing the extreme costs of treatments, his family set up this fund to honor Thabiso and as a way for others to donate in memory of their beloved Labradors and help other labs in need.
Donations to this fund help defray medical costs for dogs waiting for adoption at Labs4Rescue. It is for medical treatments beyond the normal veterinary exam, spay/neuter, and vaccines. This fund will help treat medical issues, including:
- Heartworm treatment
- Specialist consults
- Orthopedic surgeries
- Major medical issues
