Thank you for supporting Labs4rescue. Some ways you can support Labs4rescue include:
- Donate your old crate that your Lab has outgrown or no longer needs to Labs4rescue. Please contact us to arrange a drop off location.
- Donate heartworm and flea/tick preventative that your Lab has outgrown. You can mail your donation to Labs4rescue, Inc., P.O. Box 955, Killingworth, CT, 06419.
- Support our Affiliate Shops when shopping online since they donate to Labs4rescue at no additional cost to you.
- Use iGive for online shopping. With the high price of gas, instead of going to the mall, an ideal way to complete your shopping and help Labs4rescue is to visit www.iGive.com. iGive has over 600 participating stores including, J.Crew, Barnes & Noble, Gap, Lands End and Niketown, who donate a percentage (up to 26% from some stores) of your order to your selected cause with NO cost to you!!! Just for signing up and listing Labs4rescue as your cause, we receive $1 - it doesn't sound like much but every little helps. By placing an order within 45 days of joining, we receive an extra $5 plus the % donation from the vendor- this is enough to board a needy Lab for one night! If you are interested in joining and helping Labs4rescue, please contact Deb to receive a personal invitation. By joining through the link in the personal invitation, Labs4rescue will receive $5 instead of $1 when you start shopping. This past year, Labs4rescue has received over $1500 through our adopters shopping with iGIVE!!!
- Use GoodSearch to search the Internet. Specify Labs 4 Rescue - Labs4Rescue (Killingworth, CT) as your charity. For every search you do, GoodSearch donates 1 cent. If all of our adopters, fosters and volunteers did only one search a day, we would get $60 each day to help needy labs.
- Go GREEN and help save a Lab by recycling your old cell phone.
- Distribute the Labs4rescue Poster.
- Distribute the Labs4rescue Tri-Fold Brochure (please print double-sided, flip on short end).
- Distribute the Foster Program Fact Sheet.
- Wear your Labs4rescue apparel when you go out. You can order Labs4rescue apparel at our online store.
- Walk your Lab and tell people you got him/her from Labs4rescue.
- Invite a Labs4rescue volunteer to speak at one of your community or civic events.
- Become a volunteer by completing our Volunteer Application Form.
- Foster a Lab. Please complete our Foster Application Form to be added to our Foster mailing list.
- Adopt a lab! Your current lab might love to have a sibling!
- Sponsor a lab. Select one or more Labs from our list of available dogs and click on the Sponsor button to make a donation.
